I bet she was relieved to be rid of that! Poor girl. Glad she is better.

If the skin does grow back, cover her nostrils and hinder her breathing again my vet can either scrape it off again, or perform a procedure to stop it. That would need anaesthetic, so last option. But fingers crossed it doesn't happen again. She's bouncing about all happy this morning

Does he know why the skin growth appeared in the first place lemonade.

No he was stumped on that Jellybean. It seems I always provide new challenges to the vet with my budgies

Well it looks like this cere skin is growing again Coconut in herself is ok, not showing any signs like she did before, bit I can visibly notice it growing down her beak again. I think I will probably have to take her like once a month to get it scraped off, or get this procedure done, involving anaesthetic, which I don't really want to do

Oh that sucks! For both of you! Surely there must be another way to stop this.

That's a shame, I wonder what is causing the skin to grow lemonade

Oh no. That's frustrating for you both. I'm glad it's not causing her the discomfort of last time though x

I really wonder too ... Last night her cere looked a bit wet and I noticed liquid bubbling on one nostril. She gave her beak a rub on a branch then it looked ok. I'm feeling a bit fed up that one problem stops and another starts. It seems constant with the buds. I know it's not little coconuts fault but it doesn't help when the vet isn't even sure what's the cause

Oh, that's not good. Make sure you mention this when you go back. She may have a bit of a budgie-cold. Is she able to sneeze, have you noticed? Just thinking, if she can't sneeze, then where does that liquid go? What a pain for you all; you need to catch a break sometime soon.
