........until the OH decides to build an aviary that is........ It was was easy to assemble and I have spent a good two hours setting it up, hopefully it is ok. Yet again this brave little bud is amazing me, after some out of the cage training, I popped him in, expecting a quiet and slightly stressed bird for a few hours (hence the blanket over the top), but noooooooo, it's like he is on an assault course, he hasn't sat still since the second he moved in. Amazing. www.flickr.com/photos/132260824@N08/sets/72157651682053245/

Thankyou suesbird and skysmum, am really impressed with the Ferplast piano 6, for the money it's great. He does look a bit lost in there mind you! The contents of the cage are the sum of his toys so I feel a shopping trip coming on again.....oh dear, it's good that budgie toys are quite cheeeeep!

That is fantastic reajen01. I have exactly the same cage and three budgies in it, soon to be four when Pickle is trained up! Your set-up inside looks great. Lots for a little budgie to do and explore. Well done!

Aww thanks shirls, I spent a silly amount of time planning flying room and mapping climbing routes to different food/toys etc. I am so proud that I am so obsessed!

That's brilliant that you thought about giving your little bud flying space in the cage. Excellent!

Am hoping that once the training is sorted, he will be out with me most of the day but in the meantime I am pleased he has a decent cage space

Yes it looks just the job for your Douglas. Be prepared to re-arrange things fairly often. I have the Piano 7 and it is enormous, That looks just about right.

I have thought several times about getting the piano 7! But like you say OP it's huge and quite a lot more expensive than the 6 (I think?)
