Hello I currently have four boys in an aviary & have been given two more budgerigars. Wanted to make sure they are both boys before popping them into my avairy with my other four as I dont want them to fight if I have a female !! Thanks alot

I'm good, but not that good! Where are the photos You can have females in with males and there won't necessarily be fighting. It's better, if you have a mixed aviary, to have more males than females. I have more cocks then hens and they get along ok. All are different ages and from different places.

Agree with Budgies Retreat.. they wont necessarily fight. Maybe if you give them nest boxes they will scrap over those, but without them they should be okay.
Of course others, with aviary's have much more experience of this than me.
I have only ever had one girl with a group of boys.
Can we see photos?

There is no fighting in my aviary, I have 3 hens and 5 cocks. The hens have a little chitter at each other when finding a spot to sleep at night but that's just noise, never any fighting.

To be honest my boys do that too, thats normal (as we all know!) That's very true. I have a particular hen who does it regardless of anyone being near her, as soon as the lights go off she starts. But still no fighting.
