Thank you for that. I think I need individual drinking bottles, like the sports teams do ...... this one for Misty to help with liver detox, this one for Mango for extra calcium, this one for Smudge to try to reduce this "thing" ..... oh, Sparky and Spyro, guess what, you two could share!!!!

Egglets 1,2,3, and 4 Laid on the 9th, 14th, 16th, and 18th May. She should lay a fifth egg today but no sign of it yet. I have a feeling she won't lay any more but four eggs is a nice clutch size for a first time mum

Update: it's lucky I go into the aviary at least three times a day because a few moments ago I went in there, for the second time, to take them some egg food. Looked inside the cage and there was an egg on the floor of the cage! I washed M hands then picked it up and put it in the nestbox. I'm not sure if it's too late though because the egg was stone cold :/ hopefully two hours isn't too long. Fingers crossed.

One two and three are all fertile, four I haven't checked yet although I will tomorrow. With egg five its too early to tell. So at least three should hatch hopefully.

It wouldn't matter, would it, that it was on the floor, I mean, as they don't start incubating until all eggs are laid? ? Good luck!!!

The hen starts incubating after the second egg is laid, although in Peggys case she did it a bit earlier because her second egg was three days later than it should have been. I'm hoping that I got to the egg in time, it can't have been on the cage floor for more than two hours so hopefully it will be okay.

I obviously got my wires crossed with something else. But this makes much more sense to me. Thank you Rachael Kellett, for correcting me on my mistake.

Haha don't worry about it well egg 4 is fertile too egg five however, the one that she laid on the bottom of the cage, isn't likely to hatch I don't think. I candled it and it doesn't look right inside.

have you got your Katee ready Rachael just in case she keeps going Oh goodness, don't scare me lol! She's due to lay egg seven tomorrow and then I'm hoping she'll stop. So far only one egg isn't fertile and that's the one she laid on the cage floor. Egg six I had a look at today but I'm unsure if it's fertile or not.

Well egglet seven arrived yesterday not long now until the first egg should hatch. If I've done my maths right then it's the 29th May.
