Now that he feels better, Criswell has become a funny, curious little budgie. Maybe he needs his own laptop, or perhaps a smart phone?

Anything that is yours and not theirs I find. Beads, washers, ear rings, rings, anything to throw about.

Firstly, just have to say ...... well done, you two, for getting well! I am so happy that he is happy. As for things to play with one the table ...... Does he like cat balls? Anything shiny and jangly usually works, but you can guarantee he will want whatever is there that he can't play with.

If Criswell likes the buttons on the remote - how about some loose, spare buttons if you have any, he can pick them up and throw them around. I have some threaded on the buds swings and they slide them up and drop them so they slide down again.

Thanks for all the suggestions and well wishes. I have lots of buttons so I'll definitely give him some of those. I'll see what other bits and pieces I can find for him too. As well as watching bird videos he likes to join in with whatever I'm doing on my tablet. I haven't yet tried knitting around him but I expect that he'll want to join in with that. Ooh - he just said "budgie" really clearly - his best yet
