So pleased all went well and that the vets are pleased with him, he may put a bit more weight on when he is back with the others sam, he could still be a bit stressed being apart from them As for the Tricho, as Marianne said Barry advises to use it every six months as a precaution and when i had all mine in the aviary with the outside flight all year round i used to do this but since having them in during the winter and contained more with the new aviary in the summer i had relaxed about doing it. I think im going to do it every six months from now on again, it cant hurt them but if they get Tricho, well you know how that goes , i think prevention is better than the cure for sure with this horrible thing

Glad Alfie got the nod of approval from the vet, Sam. I agree that he will probably put more weight on once back with the others.

I hope so, for such a competent vet she cant weigh bird for toffee Twice I weighed Alfie with cage and without cage and it came to the same weight - she seems to think he was 10g more than he is?! A tad worried about that I gotta say

Yes that's all his diet consists of. Do you know if they are prone to relapse during treatment? He has just vomited again

Oh no samwiseg!!! I am so sorry and surprised that Alfie has vomited again. Do you think perhaps he has eaten too much or is the vomit the consistency like it was before?
