At least they have gotten to the root of Lacey's problem. I am sure the two girls will reach an agreement of sorts.

Hi guys, I've got a really slow and weak internet connection where i am, so can't always get connected Yes, convalesce, arm injury I've had for around a year that won't heal, and seeing as I've paid into the police convalescence home for 19 years and never used it i thought it was time i did I rang tge vet, but the avian vet wasn't on duty and isn't back until tomorrow, and the receptionist bless her tried her best to find out for me what infection it is but couldn't, so i have to phone back tomorrow. Anyways, i drove home after my sessions today and can report that Lacey has improved ten fold. Her tail is almost fully back up and her wings are where they should be. The lump has reduced from what I can see but she remains in the hospital cage at 79 degrees. She is eating thankfully. She is on Baytrill twice a day and something else beginning with C, a painkiller, sorry i cannot remember it. I'm not back home until Friday so she's back in Lorraine's care until then. I will update if i can tomorrow once I've spoken to the vet. Take care everyone

Hi guys. I've managed to sneak home for the weekend Lacey has greatly improved, found her hanging upside-down on the thermostat wire which is on the roof of the hospital cage when I got home bless her. I have taken from there and placed her inside a spare cage on her own opposite the main flight. I will check on her in the morning and see how she is, if she seems to have taken a step back I will pop her back in the hospital cage, otherwise I will leave her where she is. She's eating soaked seed, millet spray and the egg food, and her poo is much more solid now. I'm home until Sunday evening, and she's still on the drugs, Baytrill and Loxicom until Monday, so I can keep a real close eye on her for the next couple of days. Thanks to everyone who has wished us well, it certainly seems to have helped her
