I stand corrected. That is good to know. Hope this little mite gets a good home. Maybe someone on here, then we can see the updates. Very cute budgie regardless of his/her feathers.

Hi Folks, there's a lady in Germany who runs Birds-Online.de - I follow her on Facebook - she has a budgie like this poor wee thing. She gives updates on him and he has a happy life - just needs someone who is caring to see beyond the bald patches...Hope the link works. linkAww bless his heart x What's PBFD?

I would take her at the drop of a hat but its too far . She is right in that she wont do well in the aviary in the winter, it looks like bad FM with the body feathers affected too. The only thing that worry's me when they advertise them Free is that it leaves it wide open for snake keepers, free snake food, im sorry but it happens, same with rabbits

Do you think we should all send a pm to her to warn her?

Maybe she would travel to drop budgie off if not too far? She's miles from me, I live near Wokingham, but if someone mid point or near me could home her I'd be happy to collect the budgie and drop off to new home if owner could at least meet me half way.

Can't you make little vests for these little guys? I saw bigger parrots getting some stuff like cardigans that get replaced when they get scrufffy. The main problem with french molt is that the budgie is exposed to hitting stuff around and they're also not able to insulate right... a little vest would help, no? Are they too little for such a thing?
