Here's the Taj Mahal. Just a pointer for beginners. Round cages aren't usually a good idea for budgies, as the small ones are too cramped and they can freak some budgies out since they feel they have to "guard" the whole perimeter of the cage. This cage, however, is really quite big and my bird loves it. PS. Why is this picture so enormous?

Always happy to show off my gorgeous indoor aviary, haha! Here's the lower part: And the upper part: My setup, with my rattan chair and computer squeezed in one corner of the room: And finally, the cutest:

Oh wow Sibylle that is amazing, did you build it yourself? Haha, I wish! I have about four left hands No, this was ordered from zooplus.de. They don't deliver to Ireland so with Barrie's help I found a contact in the UK who was ready to accept the aviary and have it delivered to me. It was very expensive and took forever but it was so worth it!

I set up what I thought would be a fun cage for my terrors yesterday ready to take lot's of great photos. All I got was one of Hector running away from it while Blueboy looked on. Little chickens!

For that picture he decided to fly onto my phone This is Puck's cage, I'd like to get him a bigger one but we dont really have room at the moment, he's out most of the time anyway Took this just now after dismantling and cleaning the whole thing - I'll probably rejig it a bit in the next few days. Likely move sideways/raise/lower perches depending on if he seems happy jumping between them all. The perches are apple wood which he's made no attempt to strip the bark off, maybe cause I put them in the over to dry them out? I've dropped the bottom right perch a bit to make his seed easier to get to. I used to have a feeder (like his water one) with seed in but I was constantly blowing husks out, so going to try and get him using the bigger ones. The X shapper rattle by the bottom right perch used to have bells on it but they've gone as they were driving me crazy. I dont mind them normally but when banging against the side of the cage its too much. The hanging dried grasses are new and proving a big hit, not sure he's actually managed to eat any of the seeds yet though He stopped using his iodine block, I think maybe cause he'd rounded all the edges so couldnt get a purchase on it. I cut some back into it so will see. I put most of his toys at the back so he can still jump along the front and I can see him
