The 30g tube is one I've bought.
Just closed aviary up and all birds are steering clear from Dr scholls moleskin covered perches. All sat in the food bowls! They do make me laugh!

I hope all this works for Dorothy. If only she knew what troubles she is putting you through. I am sure she is worth it, though.

The website has cancelled my order with no explanation and the phone number is invalid!
Will go into a chemist today in search of dermidex!

Definitely try Healx Soother Plus cream - it's nontoxic and has no scent and can be used long-term. There's a lot of good research about it. If they don't ship out of the U.S.A. then you can try to find it on amazon.com www.harrisonsbirdfoods.com/what-is-healx-soother-plus/Also rope perches are some of the best for birdies with foot problems. And then wrap small sections of the rope perch with a couple layers of non-latex vet wrap like here: www.murdochs.com/shop/andover-petflex-latex-free-vet-bandage-wrap/However, if the bird has painful arthritis (most end up developing arthritis in damaged toes/feet/etc) then prescription Celebrex is often given once per day orally. Good luck x

Dermidex never arrived, out of stock.
The stuff is like trying to find hens teeth!
Last chemist I went in to just now said he thinks it's discontinued so he recommended sudocrem, which I've already got, and Bepanthen which is a nappy ointment. He thinks the ointment will be better. I explained all about Dorothy and her leg, bless him he looked quite bewildered! Suppose it's not everyday he has someone coming in asking for cream for a budgies leg!
Will let you all know if it's any good.

Bepanthen is also an ointment used on new tattoos; helps keep them clean, preventing infection. Not me ..... just so you know.
