Jo Nesbo, author ....especially the Harry Hole series.
Scandinavian author, the series can be read individually, but make more sense if read in sequence. Alcoholic, off-beat, doesn't follow the rules, Police officer, tenacious to a fault.

Want To Play (hide and seek and kill) Author:- P.J. Tracy
This is the very first book to be written by this Mother and Daughter writing team. A serial killer is on the loose, and the two cops involved, (Leo Magozzi, and Gino Rolseth) are absolutely brilliant.

Just read this BRILLIANT book. Crime, compassion and a little humour. Female detective with male partner investigating a murder which eventually uncovers numerous others. Just ordered the sequel.

Just read the first of Sherlock Holmes: A study in scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle.
I am not really into crime but my friend asked me to read it with her so I did. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it had a few 'oh my' moments! Not sure how the other books are of his but this one was worth a read.
I recommend it to people who like twists in stories!

well I had a book that was very old from the 1990s even with 3 mini ones in, I dont know if it would really fall under crime but then again murder is a crime lol... its really hard to put it down its called the waitress by sinclair smith:
Paula has a new waitressing job at the Dog House. It's the place to eat and meet your friends. But beware...even though the food is great, the service is deadly.
One visit to the Dog House and you could end up with more than an upset stomach - it might just kill you.
The waitress is in trouble, big trouble. Will Paula's first job be her last?

Author:- M. J. Arlidge Title:- Eeny Meeny
What a corker of a book. Gripping from the very first page. Two people are abducted, taken to places where they cannot escape, and left there with a gun, then they have to choose who lives and who dies. DI Helen Grace is in a race against time to find who's to blame.

Just finished reading the follow up books to Eeny Meeny, which are:-
Pop Goes The Weasel The Doll's House Liar Liar
Best crime books I've read in a long time. Can't wait for the 5th one (Little Boy Blue) which is being released today, I've already requested it at my local library.
