I think hen but I could be swayed ...... I can see why you are unsure. I must admit I am a bit confused by your "too quiet to be a boy" comment. My girls have been very capable of yelling over the top of the boys! I was generalising Hezz lol. Quite glad Beaky's quiet as Squawk is one noisy dude. I read that the females are quieter than the males, but I remember my childhood male budgie Lucky was quiet and my grandads female budgie made a terrible racket. Poor little Beaky probably won't be able to get a word in. He's really settled though with Squawk, and is quite relaxed now.

LOL!! I realised that was a generalisation ....... but also two of my boys YELL as well. So, I wasn't too wrong, being dubious about Beaky being a hen. I am glad I had my doubts. I do start to second guess myself sometimes.

This is Beaky today. Still have no idea of gender, not that it matters a great deal, love him/her regardless, but would like to here what others think.

Because of Beaky's colouring it can make sexing them a little harder, pure white budgies can be very hard to sex and Beaky is predominately white. I think he is a young male as the cere is quite purple. He is a tough one
