Take out the clay pots. Unless you want to breed, these are unnecessary. If you do want to breed then provide the pair with their own cage with their own pot. Try to find some seed containers that you can hang off the sides of the cage - saves a lot of spoiling from them pooping in the food or water. And, I am sorry, but that top cage is far too small for six budgies to live. You would be better off swapping the birds around, but even so, six budgies in the bigger cage is still too many. I suggest you get at least one more cage at least as big as the bigger one. You have some toys for them on the outside of the cages but none inside. Some swings and mirrors, things to jingle are generally welcome. Newspaper on the floor of the cage helps keeping them clean easier. Each day take up the soiled paper and replace with new. Thank you for caring enough to ask for feedback.

Yes. Sorry. For eight budgies the space is too small, and this makes it even more important that you remove the clay pots as well. I realise from other members that these are very popular in India, but unless you wish to breed, the pots are only going to cause fights. Taking out the pots will also give the birds a bit more room. I can see now, the little connecting hole. If you do wish to breed one pair, make sure they are over 12 months of age, and remove them to their own separate cage, and then you can give them a breeding pot. Make sure they have lots of fresh vegetables, grasses, boiled egg or eggfood, so they are as ready to breed as you are able to get them. By keeping the pots in the cages, the smallness of the cages, and with the mix of budgies, you could well get the hens fighting over a pot and the males fighting over the hens. Budgies will kill each other if they don't have the space to get away from the attacker. They can be fierce little creatures.

It seems far too small for that many budgies, but another suggestion is to take out the long perches and put perches in so they can jump from one perch to the other as currently they can't really move about and only move along a perch the length of the cage if that makes sense. Also a cuttle fish and mineral block would be very good to add as well

Also, budgies like to be up a bit higher to feel safe. So a cage that is smaller at the top is not ideal.

Only just seen this thread so apologies for the delay in replying! You have a nice looking flock, Harshvardhan. It would be ideal to have one big cage, double the size of the bottom one, and maybe raise it up from the floor to waist height.

Newspapers on the floor so it will be easier to clean. Or white paper if you have chewers.
And swings. Most budgies love swings.
