I do hope Bertie comes through well, skysmum. It sounds to me like he would be the perfect half of a two-budgie flock. A friend to be a budgie with and a human to connect with as well. Poor little darling ..... I know how you feel, Bertie. xxxxx

Today's news from Budshire. Budshire was rocked today by the movement of the clothes airer, it was moved a foot, maybe 2, to the window with the idea that the Tykes could bask in some beautiful morning sunshine. This was not received well and a meeting was held by the elders with the wise shaman, it was decided that they stood their ground on the matter and went on veg strike, a couple of hours later said clothes airer was returned to its rightful place and normal activities resumed In other news, the Bailster has been spending more and more time in the Big Brother House so today his cage has been moved in a bid to seal the deal, it is ready and waiting if he has a meltdown though. Jo an Freddy would like to thank the Bailster and Fran for the lone of the blue bath which they have very much enjoyed this morning. Bailey now uses the big bath with the Tykes. A bitter sweet update on little Bertie, Since yesterday he is now back with the flock, so far so good but he is well and truly under my radar. I have had my suspicions for a while with Bertie and i am now 90% sure this little man is a French Moult bud , each moult is worse than the last and his plumage is looking more tatty, he is following the same pattern as my old Jo, time will tell. If i think he wont manage the aviary at Easter he will live with the old folks and me, he is a little poppet Some pics Their world was rocked, the clothes airer was moved A meeting was held by the elders and a strike was called for They won the day and the airer was returned to its rightful place Normal activities resumed Bertie back with the Tykes, Bumble is over the moon, but they have all been warned

Brilliant. I've missed your updates for the past couple of days skysmum, they always make me smile. Isn't it funny when you put something they know to be ok in a different place, they are like what's Happening!!!! as if, because its been moved its going to eat them I really hope little Bertie is able to stay part of the gang, but if not, he will most definitely be one spoilt and loved little boy, he's a sweetheart for sure

I think they are so routined, which is their security.. but at least easy I suppose to know what they like and don't like.

thank you.. I am ok as on the steroids.. but going to try to come off them sooner and see the consultant.
unf whether connected or not, getting the most awful pains in my chest, but not heart.. it is app an oesphagal spasm.. but excruciating.. lasts from a few minutes to half hour and any time - v random.
so... I am not panicked by it but cannot move or breathe when happening
fingers crossed they dissipate and that the medicines are causing things so once off.. that will be and I can start feeling normal again
my face is puffing, which is not a good look
Bailey my beautiful boy, you unfortunately had a lot to answer for, lol.. but love you anyway
