that's lovely.. you are so talented arty wise.. I am useless!
yes, I would love to see wedding photos too when you get time to post any.
are you going on honeymoon?
When actually, you are good at it, you just haven't found your mojo. Everyone has it, I believe in that. Art comes in many forms and everyone has their talent in it. A lot of it is practice and self belief.
Ziyad struggles with art and I will one day make him arty and he will look at his work and be proud of it. Whether it's a painting or a drawing or some sort of pastel work.
Short story- In my art club, I have little year 2's, so the ages of 6-7yr olds. The instructions was to draw a portrait of themselves. They had pencils, chalk, paper and a mirror. I had one child who just burst into tears. She refused to do the work and she obviously did not feel comfortable doing it.
I told her she could do it but she told me she couldn't. I left her to sulk a little as working with a sulking child is like trying to convince a lion to eat vegetables!! The whole lesson she sulked- even after she had her cream biscuits!
The next week in art club, they children then had to colour in their faces all different colours and outline them in black. A bit of Picasso work. She realised as she looked at other childrens work that some were good and some she thought were not so good (I could tell from the faces she made as she observed them)
She then decided to draw her face and it wasn't very good. But I had my smile on and I hopped over and told her that it was amazing, that she should've believe in herself. She felt a lot better. I asked her to do another one as she could do it bigger this time and guess what, it was a lot better. She felt more confident and produced a good piece of work. Something I thought she wouldn't do!
So never give up, everyone can do art. Fine art takes years of practice, no one was born with a palette and a brush.
Wedding photos will come up soon
Yes we are going on a honeymoon but on the 1st of September because it was a little bit cheaper then. We are going to go Malaysia! Can't wait. Although I hated taking the injections... my arm is still sore and I got it last week!
