A trip to Pets At Home on the cards for the weekend then milliej lol Not where I live Jane, there's nothing of interest for miles! Just the local P.O. and Co-op plus one or two charity shops!

My daughter lives in a little hamlet and loves it. I live in a suburb/village and hanker to go back to a busy town. I like having shops, transport etc around me. Sounds remote where you live milliej.

Oh it's not bad, lived here 14 years tomorrow (1st April ) but after some of the places where we spent short periods, it was nice to settle down just took some getting used to, that and coming to terms with that we were not moving again! It's a market town and is flat which is good for me walking down our main street. I used to hanker after a bigger town or even city as I come from one of the biggest (Newcastle on Tyne) but forget how things have changed over the years. Couldn't live in a city now although I do sometimes miss the hustle and bustle. I'm not used to public transport and this has to be our last car (which has high mileage) so when it packs up......I doubt I'll be venturing far at all. I love where my daughter lives in Oxfordshire which is also a market town but more up market (of course ) we couldn't afford a garage down there
