Hi, Unfortunately I'm looking for new home for my lovely two boys.I cant belive its really happend otherwise I would never give them away. We will move out in a couple of weeks to new a home and have no promission for pets! since this was quite sudden, we had no chance to find a place where they will take us with the two boys. My budgies have different ages - one is 4 years old and the other is with us for 10 yers so is quite old-but not in heart! They are healthy, noisy and happy guys.the older is a bit shy - he alway was like that since we adopted him when was one year old. I'm looking for someone who is willing to take them together and in future- when the older one will pass away -will be able to find a new frend for the young one. They will be happy if they get a home with other budgies/birds.We live in Dorset/ Poole.I'm happy to deliver them in that area or a nearest district.

I'm so sorry you find yourself in this difficult situation. I can only imagine how you must feel having to give up your boys. I sincerely hope you can find a home for the little guys. Could you post some pictures of them.

That is sad, Sorry you are having to re-home them. It's a bit far for me or I might have fond a bit of space. Good luck. I hope you find somewhere soon.

I am sorry that giving up your boys is the only option open to you. Is the place without pets only temporary? Would a temporary rehome work at all? Or is where you are moving to where you plan to stay? Would be a shame to have to give them up for good it you could possibly have them again at a later date. Don't these places know that people with pets are happier and healthier???

Have you investigated this properly 2lorito? Forgive me if you have, but I have rented and landlords usually say 'no to pets' meaning cats, dogs and the like. Budgerigars (and fish in tanks) are not usually a problem for landlords. Anyway, I wish you luck and am sorry that I live too far away to take them, otherwise I would.

Thank you all for interest and I really appreciate the advice. Our situation is quite complicated as we had sudden notice from a Landlord and only two month to find new place. Additionally we was not redy -financiali for such a step . Now we have only for week left and we decided to rent a place where we can afford the bills and which give us stability. Unfortunately in that place they not allowed any pets at all.

Perhaps someone could be prepared to home them for an interim period, and when you are better settled, perhaps you would able to be reunited with your birdies??? I would do that for you; perhaps someone else close to you might be willing to, as well?
