jellybeanThis is the response I just got "Hi Were they able to complete the challenge to regain access, or try again. Or do they get that warning every time? I have labelled this for the attention of the ProBoards staff. They will be online later today, although unfortunately not until 16:00 GMT. In the meanwhile, your member could try clearing the cache and cookies in their browser, as it may be a rouge cookie which is causing the redirect to happen. If they get the redirect, let us know, and if possible, find out what phone and browser they are using, the network they are on and their general location, as this, in the absence of the ad report, should hopefully help the ProBoards team track any problem ads down."

Thank you Marianne. I have just cleared the cache and cookies, so will see if that works. Appreciate your help.

Proboards help want to know
"Hi, mariannemarlow.
Do they get the suspicious activity/connection message every time they fill out the ad reporting tool or did it only occur once?

This annoying bl**dy advert is back. This is what it looks like Marianne:- I had it all day yesterday, I filled out the ad report this morning and cleared the cache and cookies and it seemed to sort it for a short time, then it appeared again. It only seems to show up when I'm on the forum on my mobile phone Edit:- while I am on the forum, my McAfee web advisor flags up a warning saying:- "we tested this page and blocked content that comes from potentially dangerous or suspicious sites. Allow this content only if you're sure it comes from safe sites"

What is happening is that the advert that the mobile site shows is redirecting us to another page, which is why they want us to report the adverts so they can pinpoint which one or ones it is as they're breaking proboards rules.

Do we all get the same (daft question?) as I get two video clips on the bottom of my page sometimes all the ad's take an age to load and until they do, I can't go to where I want to! really slows it down! I've looked at 'removing ad's' but you have to pay to have it ad-free?

I think the ads may be targeted somehow, probably from what other sites you visit. I use an adblocker.

Thanks Marianne, can you tell me which adblocker you use and does it have to be for Windows 10, Edge, just this forum (and if so how do I load it)......or what?
