Hello,
our lives have changed and we are forced to look for a new home for our three budgies: exhibition girl 7 y.o. (you'll say they don't live that long? With TLC they live even longer) and two boys, pet and mixed type, both 5 y.o. Boys take a good care of an older girl by feeding her (she can take care of herself but is a spoilt girl who bosses them around in a sweet way) and motivating her to fly, which they do a lot so that all are fit and healthy. Boys also bonded with each other and are like brothers. Therefore, they have to stay together.
We are looking for a home with similar values, namely: budgies should not have their wings clipped or be left in the cage 24/7. But it can't be a wild aviary because I was told that wild birds may attack and kill my domestic nancys. We realise that it won't be easy to find my flock a home and are prepared to travel to deliver birds you. To give you an idea of how far we're willing to travel, we live in Bristol and would travel to London or Birmingham. Such kind of distance. We may consider travelling even further for the right home, but we're limited by not having a car and having to hire a private transfer. We understand that a nice person who will be willing to take birds over, will be doing us and budgies a favour, and we will go an extra mile to make the move as painless as possible for everyone. We will offer everything that budgies currently have. But please don't treat my offer as a freebie with a free delivery.
If you have any questions do ask. To see how birds look, please refer to my previous posts. I posted a couple of pics before and can share more, if needed. Again, my birds are very active, and it's very important for them to have a flying time outside of the cage.
Thank you for reading.

Best of luck finding that special new home for your birds.
I would have thought with Bristol being the size it is you should be able to find someone near to home who can offer you a good home for the birds.
If you have a facebook account you might find a local bird exchange / re-home / sale group in your area. (We have a local one here). It would also give you a chance to vet possible new homes if it was local to you.
Hope it goes well for you.

We'll obviously try our best. But it's not easy to find a home for three birds together, and for the birds of this age. We'll keep trying. Thank you for your good wishes.

When you say that you're giving them up because "our lives have changed" can you be more specific? if that's too personal a question then don't feel that you have to answer.
I just ask because you seem to devoted to your birds and you must be very attached to them.

Hi, Marianne. Yes, very devoted. I guess I can explain. For many years I've had a health condition, which made me severely disabled to the point of being virtually housebound. To check if my idea about inflammation was right, we went to warm climes for a month and got as much sun and heat as we could. In two weeks I was going out and exploring the surroundings. By the end of the month I was feeling about 70% better. When we returned to the UK, I went down again, probably even slightly worse than before. That's why we decided to take matters in our own hands and buy a cheap place in a really hot and dry place, where we intend to spend half a year every year and try to get me better. I'm still a young woman and would like to have some quality of life. Budgies have been my buddies for all these years, and I'm attached to them more than I can tell, but we talked it over and decided that humans get precedence over budgies. We could arrange a visiting carer for a month, but to do it (and pay for it) for half a year each year is not viable. That's why budgies have to go. Just thought I would put their today's photo. I forgot to turn off the flash, and poor mites all stood to attention.

I'm so sorry to hear this, is it joint inflammation or lungs?

I do have an eye condition but I count four budgies in your picture. A nice st up and recognise the Vision cage a mile off. Unfortunately I don't have the space for three/four budgies and I am alo outside of your transportation range and do not have transport myself now. I wish you luck in your venture and do hope you find a suitable home for your budgies.

Thank you, OP. Marianne, I'd rather keep it private, if I may. But it's something that started after a tick bite, turned my life upside down and requires drastic measures to change, even a bit. I dread to think of all this money taht we wasted on private doctors. We would need it now.

Oh, yes, OP, re fourth budgie, it's plastic toy that thrills whenever birds peck or headbutt it. It works from the batteries and can be switched on and off. It's the only toy the took to from day one and is still their favourite. I would recommend it heartily. Bought on ebay or amazon (don't remember) and cost around £10. It also rocks on its ring. A lot of budgie fun.

I just asked because I have a lung condition, I take a lot of meds for it.
