Blind in one eye, and can't see out of the other, OP!!! Don't worry; I had a second look as well.

Your birds look in very good condition and they are gorgeous, I'm sorry I can't take them plus I live in the rural wilds of Cumbria, miles away but I do hope someone reads this who can help you with this as they've obviously been so well looked after and are in 'mint' condition!

I wonder if these budgies have found a new home, it would be really good and interesting to hear of what happens to the birds on this thread.

Hi, thanks for asking. I don't want to talk about preliminary exploits. Let's just say we're working on it. Anyway, we're leaving in about two months, so until my budgies are actually safely rehomed, let's just keep the fingers crossed.

I'm looking for a buddy for Avis, but I can only really look after one more bird in afraid, I'm not comfortable with fitting three more birds info my Hagen cage, and I wouldn't want to leave one of your birds on their own. I am a novice keeper, and I'm assuming that a tame older bird would be safe to introduce to an adolescent bird? He's about 18 weeks old. I'm glad you've found relief from your symptoms but sad that you have to leave your little friends

If taking one off your hands isn't acceptable because they're bonded no problem, I just thought I'd offer up space for at least one of the fellas

Hi irinaHave you found your birds a suitable home yet? Unfortunately I am way too far away and I do not drive.

Bless them, if I didn't have my two I'd take them. I'm also chronically ill and my two bring me so much joy, I'm sure this was not an easy decision for you. I really hope your health improves. I really hope they find a good home too, they look so incredibly sweet.

Thank you, guys. Mintysowner, your white budgie looks a bit like mine, not really white, either. I found the word "creamino" somewhere on the Net. I think that's what they are. As I shared with M already we're working on it. When my budgies are actually rehomed, I will update. Don't think I'll have much news till then.

I do hope that the person that said that they could take your birds when the time comes is able to do so.
I'm sorry that you're having to rehome them.

Thank you. Still have my old reflexes not to open the windows, thinking it's time to change water for tomorrow, etc. Feels strange.
