hi and a very big welcome to the forum... nice build starting here .....BUT... i dont see any block suports for the middle of the floor... and it would be good to wire the bottom .......of the floor .......as well before you fix it down .... to stop mice and rats chuwing through the floor... 1/4 inch mesh inch is best... i hope you dont mind me pointing this out ...... regards mick......

thanks for that mick nice little idea about the wire the middle block supports are not in yet due to the lose of the day light so will add them in tomorrow thats why the boards are removed from the frame (to make it lighter to move) and the frame was put temp in place just incase i had to ajust a block 0r two to fit but all was spot on so removed the frame again to let the block completly set hence the polyothene for any possible frost sorry i didnt quick make that clear in my last post

no worrys darren , im glad you didnt mind me saying ....... not every body puts wire under the floor becuse of the cost... but its a good thing to do ......or sheet metal is just as good .....in between the frame work... eather way stops the buggers getting in ... and another tip..... dont put food in the outer flight...... this also atracts mice /rats.... i used to do this ...and had mice and rats ....i killed them all and stopped the feeding outside and no more problem ...

i never put any food in outside flight anyway it attracts wild birds on to of it and you dont know what they might carry

Hi Darren and welcome , i would also suggest that all joists are creosoted on the areas that sit on the wall and damp course is layed on the top of the blocks

that should do the job then, one thing i would do is seal and protect the joins where the ply is butted up together with some silicone and 2 by 1 batten regards gerwynmr2
