If you notice a spam post, the way to report it is to click the little cog on the right of the message (next to the thumbs up/like button) and select "report post".
This way both Hezz and I should be notified that there is something for us to action.
Thanks everyone!

Thanks for the tip Marianne, I didn't know we could do that. I noticed one last week, but it was removed not long after that.

Has something come up, or is this just a heads up for an in-case-of scenario, M??

It was a certain member that didn't know abut the reporting facility. Sorry about that.

I didn't know about the little cog either. I suppose we should really click on all these things and read what they say! I'm the worlds worst for doing things like that. I am always saying to my daughter about a problem on the internet and she says to do 'this' and I say 'how do you do that?' and she says 'just click on ....' And blow me down the solution was there all the time!
Did everyone understand that?? Oh well, never mind. I knew what I meant!!

Well I have used the cog a few times to link to posts, but never looked what the other options were. I did think of a PM but thought someone from the admin team would be on and see my reply post. The Doctor was struck off in the end.

I have a curiosity that means I click everything and sometimes end up in a right old mess. Before technology I used to nose through drawers and I'd be the one who touched the wet paint just to see if it really was wet. I take after my dad. My aunt once put dog poo in a bag inside a drawer to catch him out. He found it and asked what was in it, "dog sh$&" my aunt answered, he didn't believe her until he opened it. Didn't stop him though. Save

I did notice that "Doctor" had been and gone, while I was sleeping the sleep of the ignorant. I did guess, when I saw that, that this must have been the dodgy individual.

I think this is where I say "Thank you admin team" for keeping these miscreants from the forum.

It's a miracle though when you can make them disappear while you are sleeping.

My husband will ask me to help do something and get annoyed when I cannot tell him how. I'll just instinctively do it but not be able to explain it. But I have curbed that on this forum, as because I have admin powers, I could really easily delete posts never for them to return!
