I have two males, one is about four and the other is under two years of age. The wife and I have just separated and I work long unsociable hours, so I cannot give the guys the attention they deserve. if any of you guys can offer them a loving home or know someone who can, it would be much appreciated.
i live in the Manchester area and would be willing to travel a short distance to secure a good a good home.

Thanks. I know I’m a first time poster and some maybe wary, but I’m thinking only of the birds well being.

I really don't think that would be a problem; others have done the same thing, but I would guess that it is more about people's circumstances right now (bird population-wise) and how close anyone is to Manchester. I hope something comes up soon.

I can assure you that we're not being wary.
For me, it's that I already have nine birds and also live nowhere near Manchester.
I hope that you find a good home for your birds soon.
I am also sorry to hear of your personal circumstances.

If i had no birds inside I'd take them now. I'm about 60 miles away and have an aviary so have room (even though OH has put his foot down and said no more!!)
My only problem is I have some birds inside already in two different rooms so I wouldn't be able to quarantine your two before they could join the aviary - unless I put them in the back bedroom which I don't think would be fair on them.
Hopefully someone closer is able to have them and provide a good home.
My predicament may change in a few weeks though (Harriet may be able to go back outside) so I'll keep an eye on this thread incase you are still looking to rehome and I'm able to take them in. I don't know if you can wait that long (about 3/4 weeks or so?), or maybe someone may be able to take them in the meantime, but just thought I'd put it out there as a possibility or a back up for you.
It's a credit to you that you've taken the effort to find them a good home by joining a budgie forum; rather than just listing them for sale.

Thanks everyone 😊 I was sure I had signed upto this forum when I first bought budgies...obviously not. Thought it would be best to try and rehome them with people who genuinely enjoy birds rather than to someone who might soon become bored.

I have sent you a PM sultanauk. It would seem you haven't received it yet. Have you not enabled notifications in your profile?
