Ohhhhh OP this is too sad . Im so very sorry, you've lost your little mate . I hate it when they go like that with no warning or explanation, its horrible when they are poorly but at least you can prepare for the worst. Sending hugs OP, fly high Whiskers with all your friends, you will be missed chap

Yes, he was my little mate skysmum. As it is I have not had one bar Edward that was visibly poorly. Edward had FM and did have lumps at here back end. I knew there was no good taking her to a vet for them to prod and poke. Apart from that each one passed quite quickly and surprisingly. Joey did show signs of ageing but nothing to say he was dying or in pain. He went quickly as did Bobby. One minute they are fine the next they are gone. Thank you for your thoughts.

They are experts at hiding things bless them, we often don't realise until it's too late

Thank you @billysbudgies. It has been a long difficult day. I very nearly had a kissy, kiss off Oscar. I'm sure he will do it one day. It won't be the same as Whiskers though.

Oh OP I am so very sorry to be reading this. I still can't believe you had him for 4 years! Let alone he left us so suddenly. Rest assured the little guy was loved to the enth degree and I bet he's gone to tell Geoff right now what a great life he had because of you Take comfort *hugs* xx I have just been looking back at the time when I collected Whiskers from Geoff. I hadn't realised that he was four years old approx. when I collected him. I had him for 4 years that made him an incredible 8 years old. If you had seen him flying and playing you would not have believed his age. Thank you Whiskers.
