What does his eye look like? Plum, solid black or black with an iris ring? It looks solid black in the photo but the photo does not show the eye very well.

From the green on his chest and no other markings that I can see, if his eyes are black like they seem to be then I'd say he's a yellow double factor spangle

I meant to add that Dill, the budgie in my profile pic, was a yellow double factor spangle too

Sorry how old is he?
He should have an iris ring in his eye if he is older than 6 months I think.
I am wondering if he's an "ino" of some sort as he has pink feet and a pink cere.

I think we will need to wait and see with this guy, since we don't know his age. He might be a DF spangle, or he might be a dark eyed clear. I think only age will tell, since we don't have any gene greats amongst us.

I've contacted the pet shop where I bought him from and they've said 2/3 months. Apparently they put a mixed bunch together into one cage, some were 2 months some 3. He's been with me for 3 weeks so he's no more than 4 months old. Thank you for all your replies everyone

Rachael Kellett, did Dill have any green on him? I don't think I've seen DFS's with so much body colour, and that is what was putting me off. His feet are very pink, not mottled. I don't know enough about mutations; very frustrating.

I had a white double factor spangle too a few years ago, his name was Casper and he was all white but with a few pale blue patches.

I do remember Casper, and we do see that pale blue colouring on some white DFS, so it only makes sense then. Let's agree that he is a double factor spangle, then.

But if he was a DFS his cere would be blue.
I have had two and both theirs were blue.
