I live in a rented house and in the garden there is an old brick shed the landlord wants it knocked down and a 6ft by 4ft wooden shed built in its place.
Photo to follow of the present shack and design of the new wooden shed.
QUESTION. Is it possible to have a window in the roof not an opening one though?

Its an extra in having a shed with plenty of daylight, it would be great but the chances of it leeking is putting me off.

Both Flights will be used for finches, One flight will be a mixed flight and it will be a natural habitat for the finches there will be a pair of Zebs, Bengalese, Java Sparrow, Cherrys, Mannakins and maybe Trio of Quail.
The Other Flight will be to house my Java Sparrows, This flight will be basic with 2-3 perches going across the flight so 4ft long perches so the birds are facing me.

Had to revise the whole thing, the current shed is staying and ill be doing it up. Made a start today by fitting a new frosted glass window, still abit to finish with the window. The new Plans, im unsure on the interior layout, any thoughts if anybody is viewing the thread? Plan 1 Plan 2 Plan is to split the shed into two 6ft by 6ft rooms on flight room and another breeding cage room if i ever have the javas breeding there. I prefer plan 2, larger flight

I will try to get pics of the outside and inside of the shed tomorrow, the outside is good. Needs a new door frame which i will do tomorrow, needs a new fascia board around the top of the walls, and certain parts of the outside wall needs skimming and all exterior needs painting white.
