As already said, fatty lumps are quite common. Personally, I would discourage her from breeding whilst she is like this. Good luck with getting her to exercise. When I had my two hens, I found it near impossible to get their weight down!

As said, hens can tend to the plump side; even if not fat, they can still get fatty lipomas. They generally look yellow, though, not red. There really isn't a cure; less food and more exercise is needed, just like humans, and I definitely would not be using her to breed. she needs to be in optimum health before breeding.
