I'm just wondering if my budgies cage is good where the mini fridge is right now? My family uses non stick pans and I dont want him to be harmed at all, so I wanted you're guys opinion on whether putting him where the mini fridge is is far enough away from the kitchen and any chemicals released into the air. Thanks for your help guys!

Is that in the far right corner, with the lamp on top? That's probably as far away as you can get it, yes, it should be fine. Perspective can be deceptive in photos, but I think is probably your best option.

You could always ask them to change their pans? Or get an air purifier (more expensive) so they might want to change the pan option

I'm not sure, it it's open plan and you can't shut a door.

Chirpy was in my open plan kitchen/dining room for the first month and he was fine. It’s about being cautious really, don’t use Teflon or spray chemicals near your budgie.

Okay, thanks again for your help guys, I think I'll put him there if I can convince my fam not to use the non stick pans. Would the stove hood fan help or hurt in this case if they continue to use the pans?

Yeah that's where we were thinking, the only other place in the main house area that would be farther would be the living room, but it would also be fairly close to our front door and I dont want him to be affected by the drafts

The range hood will help, but it the over-heating of the pans that cause the toxic fumes to be given off. I'm not sure how serious the draught issue would be, to be honest.
