Do you swim helenmat ? If you can't run you could do a few lengths. I find it wonderful exercise now that I have learnt, and am still learning the finer points making it a more smooth, less energetic swim. I started off swimming, about 3 times a week, as a way of getting back to fitness. Then the session I used to go to they swapped to children's lessons. Now I'm managing to go to the gym at least a couple of times a week. I walk about 5k every day at work and lug paper about all day so I think I'm doing enough really.

My friend has problems Helenmat and she goes into the swimming and walks up and down for an hour, 3 times a week, she moves her upper body as well to try and get a full workout but not load bearing.

Is very frustrating to not be able to do as much as you want. It’s hard that you’re still having issues.
I used to do water aerobics, even though I don’t swim, but yes the water going against you, does tone things up. I’ve bought an exercise bike as not walking as much, since I moved.
