This is Aurelia, although she is an Orpington, apparently Orpingtons are colour prejudiced, and she does often get hen pecked by the older girlies. Today, she had had enough and decided to have a rest in the sun at the back of my shed. She wasn't there for long, but it was a lovely break for her. Lonely Aurelia by on Flickr

You could always get another, the same as Aurelia, Shirls, and then she could have a little friend of her own 😉😂 Lovely photo.

Believe it or not jellybean, I got her for Dusty! Dusty is the Chocolate Blue, being once again a different colour to the Buffs I thought those two would pal up! Best made plans and all that!!!

Who would have thought they would be so mean? And why the acceptance of one different colour but not another?? Sounds like chook dynamics are just as unfathomable as any other birds'.

She is beautiful. How sad that she’s ostracised by the others

Don't feel too sorry for her as she does integrate with the others, but she knows her place, at the bottom of the queue / pecking order!!
