Hello everyone. I need help with millet and seed types identification, since English isn't my first language. Here we get birds seeds separately and in a mix. So if needed, one can make own seed mix. This is what he said was a budgie mix. It includes sunflower seeds but only in winters. Canary seed? Yellow/white millet? Red millet? Oats? Pearl millet? Shelled rice grains? Since my one budgie seems to have fatty liver, is the above mix ok? I think there is no flaxseed/linseed in the mix and very less oats. Also if I make a seed mix of my own, what percentage of each should I take. And does it miss any essential seed/grain? Also if there is multiple names to each seed, please do mention. Greatly appreciated.

The one marked as pearl millet might be buckwheat.

The one marked as pearl millet might be buckwheat. I'm not sure, M. It might be more dried than we are used to. The buckwheat in Loki's seed is a lot more angular, less rounded than this, and is quite hard. @frosty, your bird doesn't need the oats, and I'm not sure about the one you have labelled rice, either, certainly doesn't need the sunflower seed. Fresh seeding grasses, green leafy veg etc are all important in keeping the liver in good shape as well.
