Custard and Lemon have now decided to be best friends. A couple of days ago Lemon started to preen Custard, they had already been flying about and bashing beaks for several days. Both boys were found outside in the past, so they must have some stories to tell. Lemon came to us with a bad case of scaly face after a lady found him in a local green space in June 2018, Custard has been with us since September 2013.

Aww, lovely. Nice to have a little bromance happening. All that bonding over tall tales of outside world.

Custards got a new friend and now he thinks he's Elvis. Last night he was on top of Polly's cage, singing to her. I caught him trying to sing to Lucy earlier too. Lucy is slightly more bad tempered though and jabbed at the bars at him.

Don't think your serenading is buying any favours from that girl, Mr Custard.

The Ice Maiden already shares George with Polly I doubt she'd fall for Custards charms, he's too nice and not pushy at all.

They are both rehomed birds and had names when they came to me. The lady that found Lemon called him Lebu, which apparently means Lemon. She said that I could change his name, but I kept the same meaning.

Birds of a feather (both similar colours) stick together. They make a lovely pair Marianne.
