Hello! I just got a new budgie (about 8 days ago). It is still adjusting to its new environment, but is getting more active, energetic, and vocal each day. It has been on a mixed seed diet, as well as spinach and carrots every other day. Recently (about 3 days ago) I noticed little black dots developing at the tip of its beak. I’ve read other forums, but have not seen any pictures that relate to what my budgie is experiencing. At first I thought it may be food stuck, but I’m not sure. It looks like the tip of the beak is dirty. Please help! Thank you.

It isn't dye from food is it, like the spinach? When mine eat spinach they have green faces and their beaks do get 'dirty' with bits of dark green smeared on them.

I was going to say the same as clt80 , spinach stains their beak for a day or so after eating it. A pic would help as jellybean said

Probably food. My Lucy get's a black tip to her beak by chewing up the newspaper.
Of course a photo would help.
