A parrot flying about. Heard a bump and saw something. I thought a pigeon banging into my gutter. Looked out expecting to see an injured bird, but a green parrot/similar flew off
its gone too far for me to see where, hope it’s ok

Oh wow! Do you live near any of the flocks that have appeared in some areas. I read somewhere that there are a few in the south of the UK - not up where I live in Scotland I don't think - too cold.

Well there are some not far away, but I always thought they were budgies.
I looked online to see if a bird has been lost near me. Thing is I’m not sure it was a parrot, I didn’t see it’s face clearly enough.

Was it an Indian ring neck? there are flocks of them living wild in the south east, there are loads near me.

I'm sure I saw on Springwatch recently that Indian ring necks are slowly spreading throughout most of England, especially the major cities.

How exciting! Something love it when you spot something like that (am surprosed you didn't hear them) as they are VERY NOISY If there are two, are they making a nest near your roof guttering ffiscool?

I think if anywhere it’s a tree close to my window. I didn’t hear them yesterday though. I hope they’re nearby still
