I spent ages trying to find that milk thistle earlier, that is the same one I bought ages ago!

How do you give it Marianne? I couldn't remember so I searched the forum and found a post by Hezz where she said "The milk thistle is good, I use a couple of drops into about 50mls of water"

That is what I do ... two drops into 50mls of water for Mango, and around three/four drops per 100mls for the boys. Mango has a fatty lump in her abdomen, and Misty has had an over-grown beak for a lot of years now. Mango has only been on it for the past few months, no more than four, and I saw a marked increase in her activity almost straight away. I actually think that gradually Misty's beak is not as prominent as it used to be. You may remember that he starts to vomit periodically, and at these times I give him an extra drop.
Will the milk thistle be a problem for Ben to have as well? I don't think so; not in my opinion. If Ben was a younger bird, I might think twice before allowing him to get a full dose, but he is the same age as Max; he may even benefit from a little help as well. My Spyro is in the same situation - he is fine but gets the milk thistle water along with Misty.
I really don't know about the avipro. I'd guess it shouldn't be a problem to mix the two, but maybe run that one by your vet. It is not a medication, neither is the milk thistle, but even herbal remedies can interact with each other.

Thanks Hezz, I'm praying it comes tomorrow. I'll speak to the vet about the Avipro. I got more seeding grass today, planted 2 pots of millet grass, and have got some Alfalfa sprouts on the go. The new seed should be here tomorrow too. I read somewhere that Turmeric is good for liver, any thoughts on that Hezz?

Would advise not to give avipro and mt at the same time - you may wish to consider giving them the mt for a little while then give a break from it to then start the avipro if you feel you need to. Personally in my limited experience giving them too many things at once is not necessarily good for them You are doing brilliantly for the little fella and he is bound to feel the difference x

I was planning to stop the avipro when the MT arrived Sam.
How long will I give MT for then?
I don't actually know what benefits the avipro are giving him, is it in any way beneficial to fatty liver?

Haven't even seen him drink it criswell, he's so fluffed up and sleepy. The only time he seems to be alert is around 6pm. He's eating though, I hope he's had a drink and I just haven't noticed. So worried 😓
