Hello ans welcome nick0908. What a shame about the wing clipping, but don't worry, new feathers will replace the clipped ones in time. Daisy really is a beauty.

Poor little hen. Unfortunately, all you can do is wait for the feathers to grow back, hopefully then all will be well.

Poor little Daisy, and what a beauty she is! I can only iterate what Marianne Marlow has said - all you can do is help her be as comfortable as possible and wait for the cut feathers to moult out. That will take a full 12 months to lose them all but shouldn't be quite that long before she is in the air again. You can help her keep some muscle mass by giving her wing flapping exercises - moving her up and down while she is sitting on your finger, so that she flaps her (very short!) wings. The problem with clipping wings once the bird has been flying is that they think they still can and can often end up splitting the skin over the keel by landing heavily. These can be hard to heal as the bird will continue to try to fly (and crash). Hopefully Daisy will be able to do a graceful glide to the floor rather than a stone-like plummet. I would just check that there isn't a cut feather that is perhaps sticking into her and making her uncomfortable. If there is, you might have to pull it yourself.

thanks everyone! one more question,, Today Daisy jumped off my couch and afterwards I noticed a white spot on her beak. Could it just be a scuff mark? picture inserted to original post

She's possibly banged her beak when she jumped.
You will have to be very careful with her jumping off of things as she cannot fly.
She could easily leap to her death, I had a hen that this happened to.

It most definitely could be a scuff mark from landing on her beak. She could do worse ad crack her beak from landing on it if she falls too far. It may take her a while to come to terms with the fact that her flight has been taken from her, if she ever does, and this can be a dangerous time for her, as I mentioned in my previous post - she can hurt herself very badly, or even, as Marianne Marlow has said, kill herself if the fall is too far. Try to keep her low at all times when she is out of her cage, never walk around with her on your shoulder as you will be up too high for a safe landing if she does jump off. Play with her one the couch, bed etc, even consider some bedding around so that she has a soft landing if she does try to fly off. If her cage is a large one, you might think about padding the bottom of it as well, or even lifting the bottom up so that she has less distance to fall, if that was an issue.

Thank you! I have moved her into a smaller cage for now, which she prefers lol and i will keep everything in mind. one last thing, the feathers above her cere look odd to me, is it just from her molting?

The dark feathers may be from new feathers coming through; they may be dirty from her previous life (you can try washing her off and seeing whether they clean up at all; or not so likely, but possible, it may be that she is deficient in Vit A, so lots of dark leafy greens and carrots etc.
