They are lovely, so different to shop brought ones which as Jane said are often tough and past their best. Yep same beans Hezz, Tommy is more patient than me that's for sure . He has enjoyed the whole thing, planting, watering, watching them grow and now picking, preparing, cooking and best of all, eating the beans We are currently germinating Mango seeds , i will turn him into a botanist yet, i always wanted to be a botanist

MANGO seeds skysmum?! I know, a really silly question - but how is that possible? Inside the big husk there is a large seed, like a broad bean. There are several ways to germinate them, we have wrapped ours up in wet kitchen towel and sealed in a food bag, keep it in a warm place and wait. We shall see, i don't think it will ever fruit even if i keep it in the conservatory, its more about showing Tommy how things grow really, he's like a little sponge atm and constantly asking, WHY, HOW, WHEN, WHERE
