Do budgies need Bird Gravel ? Because i bought a box of it and not sure if i should put some in the cage or not ...

Do you mean grit? I use oyster grit but it’s made of crushed oyster shells not gravel. Budgies use it to help them digest seed sometimes.

I use oyster grit too, they don't eat it very often

They don't need it, but it is a good source of calcium, particularly if the birds ignore their cuttlebone. The charcoal shouldn't be a problem for them either. In Australia, some breeders have charcoal available all the time, others don't use it. Being as they are foraging ground/grass feeders, it is quite common for the wild birds to pick up pieces of charcoal while they forage.

I always leave a tiny bit of oyster shell grit available in a pot but I can't remember the last time I saw Eric eat any.

Mine eat it; I gave up on the cuttlebones as they just used to get pooped on or totally ignored, but the grit they do go to on a semi-regular basis. I use finger drawers - little finger sized containers that fit through the vertical bars of the cage.
