Stuart absolutely LOVES a cornflake - so much so that he'll perch on my bowl and try to steal one. As soon as I pour a bowl he gets super excited. I have given him a little nibble (probably about a quarter of a flake), and I'm careful it's not got milk on it. I wondered if it's safe to do this as a good morning treat or should I eat in another room and keep temptation out of his way?

A tiny treat like that is really not going to be a big impact on his diet. As long as it is only a tiny treat, and he doesn't talk you into giving him more each and every day.

Little devils aren’t they! I love a glass of cold milk ( yes a definite no no for Charlie) . Last night when he came out, I covered my milk with a coaster. He flew around, landed on the coaster and before I could get to him, he flipped the coaster off and landed feet first in the milk!! I had to take him and wash his feet. He wasn’t happy one little bit!!!

Ha ha little devils aren't they. We used to have plant pot saucers to put on the tops of our tea because Pickle would try and land on the cup. He once flew across and landed smack in the middle of my mashed potato, when we hadn't closed the cage door properly and I could never eat crisps or anything with a spoon or he would try and bite my fingers to get to them. The box of lettuce was for my lunch, I was trying to make a salad! He didn't actually drink any!

Bluey with my vegemite and crackers comes to mind. He loved Vegemite, and the others will still indulge sometimes. No one has been as addicted as he, though.

I was able to get Monty to take medicine purely by teaching her to drink out of my glass of water - so when it came to meds time I just used to put it in a small glass and she would drink from it!

Charlie would jump in the glass!! The funny thing is....once he is wet he doesn’t like it, he sits and sulks.
