Since Jo and the two Misty's have gone Pip has become a people's person. He has to be where ever I am and sitting on me. He is so affectionate, never nips and just wants to have fun. It is really nice and I love him, but he can be such a pest. I cannot do anything when he is out as he is usually on my hand. I have to restrict his time out to several hour slots just so can get something done😂😂. So I have to just sit down with him😱😱. I know everyone would love to have this so I do feel guilty at times😂😂

Awww what a sweetie pie! How could you not want to spend ALL of your time with him? Reminds me of my Mont, even if I played a game on our computer console she would be on my hands trying to chase my thumbs...I could never play anything without her getting in the way! It is rather sweet though isn't it? They certainly capture our hearts these little feathereds don't they?

He sounds and looks just like my Charlie...So tame it’s unbelievable, I can’t get a thing done either and if the door bell rings, I have to bang on the window and shout 'I can’t open the door I have a budgie on my shoulder '🤣🤣

awww sounds lovely. it is I suppose natural that they would mostly then want you, if they are a single bud again.
but I get what you say re how hard it is to do anything.

You are so lucky Sue, I've tried and tried with Ben, he just doesn't want to know, think he's more of a birds bird, than a person bird ☹😓

Bailey after all this time, i think is more a person's bird, even though for half his life so far, has been spent with buds

He would never do it and was always aloof but he changed the minute he was in his own. He gets so excited when I ask him if he wants to come out. My oh has thin air and Pip uses it as a skating rink 😂😂😂👍

Awww...what a cutie. I am in the same boat. Sam has to be in on everything. She on my computer when I'm on it chasing the pointer on the screen and on my shoulder when I leave the room. She rules though as my hubby can't leave the house until she decides to get off his hat. I mean she just keeps flying back to it like it's a game. I cannot text in private as she must be on the phone pecking at it. She has called just about everyone in my contact list accidentally and acts like a true diva hen when I shoo her off. Wouldn't change it though...lol

Stuart is somewhere in between, so sounds like I've got a good balance. He will fly to me, play with me and practice/play games, but he's just as happy in his cage or sitting on 'his' bike at the window talking to the sparrows in the garden. He lets me know he's fed up playing by flying back to his cage, and lets me know that he wants to play - by dive bombing me. He's a great wee character.

You are very lucky. Thats what my Pickle used to be like. I don't think Eric is bothered one way or the other. He likes me being there but won't ever come to me of his own accord. I can pick him up etc but its on his terms.

I'm glad Pip is happy and it's lovely that he wants to spend his time with you. I really loved all the time Criswell spent with me but it did make it hard to get things done, and I'd feel guilty when I had to leave him. Dexter has shown in a bit more interest in me in the last few weeks. He's always liked me to twirl him round on a perch if I go over and get him but twice in the last few weeks he's flown over to see me which was such a surprise.
