Hello everyone, please your advice: I have on the bottom of my cage a white grid that comes with the cage. I was wondering if this is safe? The Budgies legs are so delicate and I wonder if they get caught it my break their legs? All advice appreciate it. Thank you ❣️

They are perfectly safe, but can be a nuisance to clean. Most of us use newspaper down over the grill to make cleaning easier and helps them get around better. It is easier for them to walk around on the paper than on the grill. If your bird does chew on the paper, that is not an issue - newspaper ink these days is not toxic.

Hi, welcome to the forum, as Hezz has said, paper on top of the grill is much better.
