I'll give you the scenario: OH: There is a budgie poo on the sofa/wall/floor/table/computer (you get the idea) Me: Yes, well, that's what happens sometimes OH: Aren't you going to clean it off? Me: You can do that as well you know OH: I 'aint touching that! Besides, they are your birds You get my drift?!!!

I keep checking the bag over the nozzle too.... making sure Barry the Barry hasn't managed to cut his way out with an implement he's made from previously hoovered up contents.

Believe it or not, I would have preferred he was released into the wild but until there is an emergency Barry Hotline where someone could be parachuted into my home within 5 seconds of a call, I am left with less desirable methods. Barry did make a rod for his own back though... had he not started scurrying [shudder] I would have used the humane Barry Catcher where he would now be free to terrorize another household (not mine as I would have released him about 10 miles away).

Poor Henry!
That reminds me, I've decided to sell my vacuum cleaner........ Well, it was only collecting dust! I was thinking the same, but mine collects all sorts of things, usually things that clog it up - feathers, grass, mangled up bits of cardboard and paper, more grass, the odd Barry, cockroaches (they make a very satisfying scriiiitch as they go up the tube), and did I mention grass and feathers??
