Kiwi sneezed. I am not sure why, but is it possible that he could be sick?

Budgies sneeze occasionally. Unless he's constantly doing it, or sneezing out gunk then he's probably fine.

Budgies will sneeze, as will all birds at some stage. They can sneeze a lot, depending on their environment. One sneeze is not an issue. Constant and wet are cause for concern.

He does sneeze sometimes What would be wrong if he sneezed constantly

Budgies sneeze just like we do, from dust or pollutants in the air or even from the changing of the seasons. If it were constant and wet then it could be a respiratory infection. In that case a trip to the avian vet would be in order and keeping him warm until you get him there.

I agree with what has been said before. If it is constant then that is the time to worry. Wait while your budgie sneezes right in your face.

I am still concerned. Kiwi is very active, eats like a hog, and actively seeks out my attention. Yet I am still concerned for some reason. (its possibly that I am just obsessing about this )

I think you may be obsessing a bit..lol. If Kiwi were all puffed up all the time and wheezing and not eating I would say worry but he is happy and active. How many times does he sneeze in an hour? Is his environment dusty and is he molting?

If you have any concerns, get him to a vet, preferably avian. If there is a problem it can be picked up early; if there is nothing wrong your stress levels, and therefore Kiwi's, will go down.

That sounds like he really needs a vet, even if not avian. It sounds like he has a respiratory infection, most likely needing antibiotics to clear it up, I'm sorry.

Hi! Can a budgie sneeze because of an allergy to something in the air in the house?

A bird will sneeze for the same reasons that humans do. A few sneezes are nothing to worry about. Constant sneezing may need to be checked out.
