Has anyone ever had a problem with the hagen vision cage? Stuart had a bit of a freak out yesterday. It only lasted a few seconds, and I didn't think anything of it until I was shutting him in for the night and noticed two of his long feathers (one's definitely a tail feather) caught in the clip which fastens the base on. They were stuck, so it looks like he's caught them somehow and managed to pull himself away, leaving the feathers behind. He's been absolutely fine, and is his usual self, and flying normally, apart from the wee freak out. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced anything like this or if it's just been a freak accident. My poor wee man. It must have been sore.

I have two Hagen visions, had them quite a few years and this has not happened to any of my budgies.
Glad that Stuart is ok.

Thanks folks. He's absolutely fine, and he's been in that cage for months without any problems. I'm hoping it's just been a freak event, but I'll be keeping a close eye on it.

Glad he's ok reenie. I've got Sam in a Hagen cage while he's in quarantine, not had any problems.
