Until Buddy Boy met the gang! He was so lonely, after coming from a large aviary of birdies. Here are a few pics of his first few days: Pip being the most curious, was over first, but then completely ignored him after that, and basically she ignores him now he is out. next it was Benji and Jerry to hop over: Benji always was the chatty one: Buddy Boy: I won't get any closer as she always shouts at me!! This is where they all usually sit now. Before the arrival of Buddy, they all used to sit on the top of Charlie's cage, but he has been left out in the cold a bit now. Not today though as his cage door is open and they all keep popping in and out, eating his seed and his grit and Pip is sitting with him so he is VERY happy. Pip and Charlie with Buddy Boy watching over!!

The original gang haven't warmed to Buddy Boy at all. Perhaps it's because he keeps singing like a Parrot! So, in a matter of days I must really go and get him a friend!!! A male friend though. The original one I took a fancy to, if he is still there, where I got Buddy from.

Aww, what a shame, poor Buddy, I really hope the dynamics change Shirls and the gang start to interact with him.

It must be really noisy in your house, and another one to join. Hope things improve Shirls. I would love another one but circumstances change and I don't think it would be fair. Poor Pip, So will just have to watch everyone else's newbies.

Shirls Pip and Charlie look like an old married couple! As long as they are not fighting with him, I am sure they'll warm to him eventually They look okay here. Some birds do just prefer to do their own thing.

Buddy Boy is a little sweetie, he whistles like a parrot a lot samwiseg. He is a little skittish of me now he is in the main cage. I must start taking time again to get him on my hand like he used to when he was on his own. He invited himself in the big cage, and just LOVES the swings! Problem is that he wants Pip's swing. You can imagine the shenanigans of a night time, Pip will just not give up her swing and Buddy just will not stop trying to get it. As the others eat veggies and egg with corn, Buddy has had no problem joining in and seems to love fresh stuff. I suppose he's been in the big cage for about a week now. As he is 'stick' trained he will go in mosttimes, he watches the others go in on the stick, Jerry won't go on the stick but flies in on his own which Buddy does sometimes. They are all pretty good really.

Well, I've been and gone and done it ( skysmum!!). Bought a another green budgie, hopefully a little friend for Buddy Boy so he won't feel left out any more. Hopefully it will be another four weeks of quarantine, but at the moment they can see each other through the conservatory doors/windows, from one room to the other. The man in the shop was brilliant and managed to catch the one I wanted (not the one I picked out last time, I think he had gone), but this little guy looks a real sweetie. He was sitting in the aviary singing away and looking very happy. Not so happy at the moment sadly, but he will be fine in a few days. He can hear the other buds. Name to be thought about over the next few days. I'll get a pic as soon as I am able.

It's now 6 Marianne, so just one more. I must say I never really thought I would get up to the number 6, but that is where I shall stop.
