Hello friends,
I would like to first feel my immense pleasure for joining this platform. I am new into this hobby and hence exciting. Well I have a question. My exhibition budgie recently lay eggs which were all infertile though I trimmed their vents. What may be the reason? I know humidity might be one but under same external condition other pair eggs were all fertile. It seems to me that pair did not breed properly. What you think?

Friends,
Please guide me from scratch what to do for show preparation.
Like I have heard that from baby handle chicks with warm hands so that they remain calm while sitting in hands, shower them with warm water, pinned their feathers, plucking the tail etc. But I need complete guidelines. Video references would be deeply appreciated.

I'm sorry, faizan, but we really don't have any serious breeders on the forum at the moment, and definitely not of exhibition budgies. I'd suggest that you contact a breeders' society and see if you can't get some advice from there. You may even connect with an experienced breeder who will mentor you through your first few seasons. This is a link to the British Budgie Society, but if that's not for you, Mr Google might throw up something in your area of the world. www.budgerigarsociety.com/I have joined your two threads simply because there isn't any one who is a regular member (at the moment) and my response is the same for both questions. Good luck with your search and your foray into the world of exhibiting.
