She just smashed in to the window, she has recovered partially, she can step up, but she is making a weird clicking sound. Help?

She looks really dazed. Any updates on how she is now? When she hit the window she fell down like 4 feet and when I picked her up she flapped like heck and her head was twisted around until her stomach, she was blinking really slowly it was really hard to watch 🙈

Keep her warm tonight and try and keep her calm. How does she seem now?

Pardon my irrelevant question but she is a "she"? I thought a blue cere meant "boy".
She is darling - hope she recovers quickly.

Looks to me like she was severely stunned, not sure why she should be clicking? Have you not noticed this before? Hope she is ok this morning do let us know how she is. She looks like a hen not in breeding condition tweetiepiesmom as they have a light blue cere with faded white around the nares. When they go into breeding condition then they get the typical crusty cere which can be from a light beige, brown to even looking purply black

Ohhh bless her . I hope she has recovered well, im not sure about the clicking either but is probably to do with the trauma, possibly a little concussion reaction, poor little soul.

The clicking sound is most likely from stressed breathing. I've had budgies do this when stressed or overheated.
