My baby is about 4 months old - I'm just guessing. It looks like he may be getting ready to moult. I'm seeing many down feathers and I've found two larger (maybe wing) feathers on the bottom of the cage. I think its a boy but maybe not. Do I have a little boy or girl? Its tough to get a picture because he's frightened of my cell phone.

The pictures not clear but I’d say a boy. He’s very handsome too 😊. What’s his name? Although I guess he’s Tweetie Pie 🥰

Yes, its Tweetie Pie. I questioned if I had a boy or girl when I saw the video fancydance posted of her sweet girl (hope she's recovered). He's been with me for about 7 weeks.
My baby has been showing signs of accepting me as his flock. Early in the evening I close the window shutters behind him and put his blanket on the cage leaving the front uncovered until his bedtime. He will fluff up and sit on his front perch for the night (not the swing!). Last week the corner of his blanket slipped down. He got scared, jumped to another perch and let out a couple soft chirps. I went over to his cage and talked softly to him. A couple day ago when the sun was just starting to come up and I was still asleep, I heard the flutter of wings and a couple of soft chirps. As I was coming awake I thought I was dreaming. About a half an hour later I went out to make my coffee and peaked under his cover to check on him. He was sitting on his perch all skinny and looking toward the window. That's when I realized it wasn't a dream but his "mommy I scared" call. I felt bad that I didn't realize it but I uncovered the front of his cage and talked to him. Most likely a wild animal (raccoon or skunk or cat) walked by and made some noise. The window was closed. Then just yesterday the house cleaners came while I was out. I came home while they were there. When I walked in the house Tweetie Pie started chirping. The cleaners said he had been quiet (not scared) until then.
He has begun to let me get my forefinger close to him. He tilts his head and watches as I slowly move it towards him. As soon as I touch his toe, he jumps away. Progress - slow - but progress none-the-less.
He still won't eat anything except his seed mixture. I sometimes will hang a millet spray in his cage which he loves. For the first time he ate some while I was holding a piece with my fingers.I had to hold it right up to his beak and then after a few seconds he chowed down on it. My heart just went pitty pat with love. I'm going to try some sprouts in a cup next. So, that's our story for now.

Tweetie Pie loves the sun! He sits in front of a large window and dances and chirps when the shutters are open during the day. Today was fairly overcast. He only chirped a little and did jump around some. Mostly he sat softly singing. He ate normally. Typically here during these winter months it will be cloudy/overcast until early afternoon. Those who live in areas where there is not much direct sunlight in the winter, do you compensate with an avian light? Should I get one for Tweetie Pie?

Progress has been made! I have been offering him millet and he has been putting one foot on my finger. Today he put both feet on, yippee!!! I slowly moved my finger to the center of the cage and he kept eating. He then looked around and saw he wasn't beside his perch and flew off. But he was on for a bit - I'm beyond joy and just had to share the good news.
