Pippi reecently got diagnosed witch arthritis she was given a lot of treatment + metacam for the pan and inflamation (NSAID). The kiddneys gets affected if she dosent drink. shuld i make sure that she drinks maby giving her 0,003ml of water with a seringe, this is prolly more for my own sensetive soul, when i get scared maby this is better for us both, i am maby to overprotective and think to much? what would you do? Edit:Now when i se her dropings i notice that they have changed color almost grey? i can se that her whater is not tuched, i put a mark on the bottle soi can se... shuld i feed her water she is still sitting bur breathing kind a much i dont know if this isa side effect of metacam or whatever tomorro we hav a vet apointment, can some1 that have birds die tell me how fast dose it come, she was "ok" this morning. when i came home she saluted me good i was at the groserys and then when i came home i se her having a bit hard breething but i might be overreading her behaivor right nkow cuz i know she is sick. im scared shi will just die. but she is standing on her usual spot ans even making sounds (singing to the music is my guess), i am bad at enturpering my bird...
All help is needed!
Edit2:I dident take her out, i just stuck the needle in but she just waved her head around so when i finaly got a little water in her moth i dono if she got it.. i can take her out and make sure, her droppings was very watery tho.idk, im not a vet...

Really, you need to talk over your concerns with your vet. The grey colour of her droppings could be due to her medication. Budgies are a desert bird and have evolved to need very little water, so would be surprised if you noticed any change in the level of her water, but she does still need to drink. Again, talk to your vet. This person has the training and knows what is wrong with your little hen, has physically seen and examined her. If you have any concerns, write them down and remember to ask the questions when you get to see the vet.

You mean hyperthyroidism, I presume. Yes, a clicking noise can sometimes be because of this. Does she have a iodine block?
