Feathered friend ? Or a non reciprecated love

Hi everyone ! 
Hope you are all well .Im hoping for a bit of advice regarding taming please.
Ive spent alot of time with Rainbow our baby budgie we brought home a few weeks back.Several short 5 min sessions a day,offering treats etc.Her cage is in a busy living area and we are always talking to her throughout the day.She has always been very friendly from the beginning and would hop on my finger but it did take a couple of weeks for her to eat veggies and millet out of my hand.She still will only eat the millet seeds not directly off the spray even if cut into tiny bits.I thought things where coming along nicely as she ' steps up ' on command and will return to her cage on my finger.We still have a long way to go but over the last 4 days or so Rainbow has started to nibble/ bite me before or when she is on my finger.Im not quite sure what to call it  really haha!I dont like biting as sounds aggressive which it isnt ( for now 😂)is not painful in the slightest sometimes almost licking but feeling around my fingers, nails and hand with her beak.She is not trying to move away from me at all she hops up on her own accord and just makes her way over my hand nibbling away , then may fly back to a perch.
As i mentioned it is not painful  but im worried she could be upset with me in some way or telling me to back off ? Which i must admit has made me feel a bit sad as i thought our friendship was blossoming and we was bonding slowly.  Today she was doing it again but then sat on my hand beaking the bell of her toy next to us in the same way,  so then I thought maybe it is actually playful behaviour ? And its just her way of getting to know me further ?I have never jumped away or even acknowledged the behaviour to her verbally just ignored it.Im just hoping im not ignoring some polite attempt of hers to tell me to go away 🙈😂Im trying different times of the day to see if that changes anything.
Sometimes she sits on my finger on one leg looking very chilled and this evening even puffed her little head feathers out and nuzzled her head for a head scratch 🥰 so that was nice , maybe she doesnt hate me after all hahaha.
I couldnt upload my video but have some screenshots for you .Would love to hear your thoughts, if youve experienced anything similar or if its anything negative to work on .Im hoping its more positive and just her little character coming out 🤷‍♀️

Sometimes it's hard to tell with hens, because even their affectionate nibbling tends to be harder. But I think she's just being bold and exploring your hand. You'd certainly know if it was an angry bite!

Agreed, if it was a true bite, you would know it. She is likely just being curious and tasting you. She certainly doesn't seem to fear you. My little hen when she was young would try to nibble my skintags, my freckles or any other mark on my skin. She was not being agressive at all, just trying to preen me. If she is showing interest in your hand, take it as a compliment. She wants to get to know you.

Thanks so much ! That makes me feel much better 🥰 hopefully just a sign of things progressing ! Is there anything you can suggest now to further her taming ?
And the female budgie that preens you she sounds very friendly ! Xxxx

Most pet birds will "taste" you to be sure you are who they think you are, and really it is only one step down from preening. Certainly nothing to be concerned about.
